Greatstone Primary School

The children in Class 1 and 2 visited Lathe Barn on 25th June 2009.

All the children were very excited when the coach picked us up. We enjoyed looking at all the animals in the farm. Our favourites were the pigs and the Shetland pony called 'Ginger.' Some children had great fun on the combine harvester and riding the toy tractors while others preferred playing on the roundabout and in the sandpit. Our packed lunch was eaten under the trees in the shade and then we spent our money in the shop. We spent the rest of the day playing in the kind farmer's field. Although we were all very tired, we all had a lovely day out.
