STORY / DRAMA CLUB

TAG RUGBY

Tag rugby is an enjoyable game in which two teams compete; it is a game for boys and girls to play together as a team. It takes place after school on a Wednesday from 3:20 to 4:20 on the school field and is taught by Miss Booth and Mr. McConnell. We often do a skills practice and some tagging practice (which involves pulling a tag off someone's belt) before we play a match. We all find it very enjoyable as we all like working together. We find it a very good chance for all of us to get involved and just be part of a team.

FOOTBALL CLUB

Throughout the first two terms of the year on Wednesday afternoons from 3.20 - 4.20 pm, members of staff organise football skills and mini games of football.
Around 60 - 70 year 3, 4, 5 and 6 boys and girls have joined the club and there are usually 3 or 4 members of staff in attendance.
Despite the occasional bad weather, the club runs with the objectives of giving the children exercise, skill training in aspects of co-ordination, ball control and team work, as well as having fun.

SEWING CLUB

The sewing club is run by Mrs. Milbourn for pupils in years 3 to 6.
