Children in Need

On Friday 13th November the school replaced its staff and pupils with a host of nursery rhyme characters to raise money for Children in Need.
We had great fun parading round the assembly hall to show off our costumes…

Cultural Week 2014

On Friday 13th June our school was a riot of colour as we all dressed up to celebrate the final day of a special cultural week. As part of this term’s challenge, each year group has been learning about a particular continent. During cultural week, they focused on a specific country from that continent, taking part in all sorts of activities to stimulate their learning.

Evacuation Day for Classes 9 & 10

On Thursday 20th May Classes 10 and 9 went on a World War II evacuee trip at Tenterden (on the Kent and East Sussex railway) to know how it felt to be evacuated.

Year 6 in Snowdonia

Day one (Sunday 9th June)…We arrived at the Kent Mountain Centre at approximately 4.30 p.m. What a long journey – we’d left Greatstone at 8.30 that morning! We were greeted by some lovely Welsh sunshine though, and we were very excited!
