Year 3 and 4 Tri Golf Festival

On Friday 27th February, Greatstone children took part in a golf festival at Etchinghill Golf Club. When we arrived we met children from 13 other schools. We had to try 7 different activities and our scores were recorded. We all played really well. In our team were Jade Stanton McGee as captain, William Teale, Georgie Adams, Ciaran Barnes, Annabelle Thomas, Chelsea Gordon, Daniel Norman, Bradey Evans, Sam Stroud and Sarah Crook.
We all enjoyed ourselves and had drinks and cakes after the event, courtesy of the golf club. When the final scores were announced we were really pleased to come 3rd, just missing out on a medal! Mrs Richardson and Mrs Geddes said we played really well and were very proud of us, especially for our brilliant behaviour and sportsmanship.
