Greatstone Primary School

On the 7th November two of us were chosen to go to the Harvey Grammar to meet Dame Kelly Holmes. We were accompanied by Mr Mortimer.

When we arrived there, first we watched a DVD about other sporting events. After that we gave a speech about the High Five netball team in front of 24 children and 15 adults.

Afterwards we went to the sports hall where we did a dance to warm up. Next Dame Kelly presented an award for the Big Bounce world record. Then we watched children do Gladiators - a sporting event - and we were given goodie bags.

Even though we didn't get to speak to Dame Kelly directly, we had a great time and were proud to be chosen to represent Greatstone School.
