Sports Events
South Shepway High 5 Netball Tournament 2009
On Thursday 5th March 2009 Greatstone School held the south Shepway Netball tournament for the third year. This time we entered even more children - a total of 28 pupils represented our school. Year 3 and 4 played really well and come 4th in their league. Our Year 5 and 6 teams did really well and were placed 6th, 5th and 1st! The children in the overall winning team will go on to represent Greatstone in the Shepway Final later this month. Congratulations to all the players for their hard work, team effort and exemplary behaviour and sportsmanship. I would also like to thank the year 5 and 6 girls for arranging the refreshments.
