Our Nursery
The Nursery's Latest Newsletter
Dear Parents/Carers,
I would like to welcome all the children who have recently joined us at our nursery. I hope they have all settled in happily. If you have any concerns, please make sure you discuss them with a member of staff. We want the parents to be happy too!
I would also like to welcome Jackie Joulin who is our newly appointed deputy team leader. Jackie has had lots of experience working with preschool children and is full of good ideas which we are looking forward to her sharing with us.
Thanks to all the families who joined us on our successful trip to London. The children were all very well behaved on the coaches and seemed to have had a good day, despite the heat!!! If anyone has any suggestions for future family outings please let a member of staff know.
The following informaton is for children who are moving to school in September 2008.
" Every Thursday and Friday afternoon, please send an extra t-shirt and shorts (and trainers/plimsoles if your child is not already wearing them) or you can leave them at nursery in a named bag if you prefer. The children will be practising changing for a fun PE lesson. This should help them get changed without much adult support preparing them for the reception classes. Greatstone School PE bags are available from the school office (cost- £2.50) should you wish to purchase one.
If you have any queries/worries, please do not hesitate to see your child's Key worker.
Thank you for your support,
Yours sincerely, Fiona Roberts - Head of Early Years
